How to Edit a Child’s Demographic Information in Learning Genie

Need to update a child's name, birthdate, or other personal details? You can quickly edit both basic and additional demographic information from the Learning Genie web portal. Just note that the “Additional Information” tab may look different depending on the framework assigned to the child's classroom.

Here’s a simple step-by-step guide:

1. Log in to the Learning Genie web portal web.learning-genie.com
   
   
2. Click your profile icon in the upper-right corner of the screen, then select Admin Settings.

3. In the left menu, click Manage Children.

4. Find the child whose information you want to update. Hover over their name and click the pencil icon.

5. You’ll see two tabs:
   
   
   • Basic Information: Update things like name, date of birth, gender, etc.
     
     
   • Additional Information: Includes DRDP-related fields (especially for CA users).

6. After making your updates, click Submit to save your changes.

That’s it! The child’s record will now reflect the updated information.
