If a child joins your program late and needs a custom rating period, you can individualize it by following the steps below.
⚠️ Note:
If you cannot access or edit a child’s rating period or the agency’s rating period group, please contact the Agency Owner for access.
Agency Owners can grant access by going to:
Admin Settings > Manage Staff > Add Rating Period
Step-by-Step:
1. Log in to the Web Portal
Visit: web.learning-genie.com
2. Access Admin Settings
Click your name in the top-right corner, then select Admin Setting.
3. Go to Manage Children
On the left-hand menu, click Manage Children to locate the child.
4. Edit the Child’s Info
Hover over the child’s first name, then click the pencil/edit icon.
5. Scroll to “Child's Rating Period”
On the Basic Information page, scroll down until you see Child's Rating Period, then click the pencil/edit icon.
6. Adjust the Dates
Set the custom start and end dates for this child’s rating period.
Note: Be sure to pick the dates using the calendar tool—do not type them in manually.
7. Click "Save" and "Submit"
This final step confirms and applies the changes.
