A. DRDP State/Head Start Children Preferred
- The first classroom rating period and late enrolled children’s rating periods have a date limitation.
- Child’s first rating period automatically be assigned for 60 days (or agency defined first assessment duration) when enrolled late. Cut-off date applied for the late enrollment children.
- You need to set the minimum assessment duration for all children.
A1. Name the group/program
A2. Set Date Range
Set the length of the first period, the assessment alias, and the starting and ending dates for each period.
A3. Set Late Enrollment Policy - Minimum Required Duration and Cut-off Date
- Minimum required duration of a rating period : The minimum duration that the agency will require a teacher to complete one assessment period. Our tool will generate a cut-off day for each rating period in the school year by deducting the last assessment’s end date with the interval of minimum duration of rating period.
-
Set a cut-off date that would determine which rating period alias a late-enrollee should adopt. You can set an Enrollment Cut-off Date if you would like to determine the alias by the date the child enrolls, or if you would like to determine the alias by the day the child will finish his/her assessment
When child starts after the cut-off date, he/she will skip that rating period since teachers may not have enough time to complete. It will result one fewer ratings compared to the rest of the class.
