Parent Progress Report

As a parent, staying informed about your child's development is important. The Parent Progress Report gives you a clear overview of your child’s growth in various areas, helping you see their progress in skills, behaviors, and knowledge. This report is prepared by your child's teacher, based on their observations and assessments in the classroom. It is designed to support parent-teacher discussions, using visuals and descriptions to give a complete picture of your child’s development, along with personalized feedback.

Once your child’s teacher has completed and sent the Parent Progress Report, you will be notified via a pop-up when you log into the Learning Genie app.

How to View and Sign the report

1. Pop-up Notification
When you log in, you will see a pop-up notification with the report.
Click the Sign and Confirm button to view your child’s developmental progress report and sign it.

If you exit the pop-up notification, you can still access the report in two other ways:

2. Child’s Home Page
Scroll through your child’s feed to locate the Parent Progress Report.
Once you find the report, click Sign and Confirm to view and sign the report.

3. Sidebar Menu

• • Tap the menu icon (≡) in the upper left corner of your screen.
  • Select Parent Progress Report from the menu.
  • Choose your child’s name to view their developmental report.
  • Click Sign and Confirm to sign and submit the report back to the teacher.

What the Report Includes

The Parent Progress Report is divided into three sections:

• Domain View: Provides a scale of scores for each developmental domain, with a marker showing your child’s level of development.
• Measure View: Lists specific ratings for each measure within the framework, helping you understand more detailed aspects of your child's progress.
• Action Plan: This section allows you to track your child's progress and work towards achieving key developmental outcomes, including four overarching goals for all children.

Downloading the Report in PDF

You can also download the Parent Progress Report as a PDF for your records. This PDF version allows you to keep a personal copy of your child's development for future meetings or discussions with teachers.

Here’s how:

1. Go to the Parent Progress Report from either the home page or sidebar menu.
2. Once you open the report, look for the download icon on the upper right corner of the screen.

3. Click the icon to have the report sent to your email. You’ll receive a link to download the report for your records.
