The Learning Genies Unit Planner simplifies the lesson planning process by allowing educators to seamlessly integrate created units into their weekly planners. Once a unit is designed, it can be effortlessly added to the weekly schedule, streamlining classroom organization and time management. This feature ensures that teachers can quickly align their lessons with their overall curriculum goals, making it easy to stay on track. Additionally, the flexible design allows for adjustments, ensuring lessons can be tailored to meet the needs of all students. This efficiency allows educators to focus more on teaching and less on administrative tasks.
How to Add Your Units to the Weekly Planner
1. Find the Unit you want to Add and click it.
2. Once in the Unit click the Add Unit to Weekly Plan at the bottom right corner of the Unit.
3. Confirm the Unit, the Classroom, and the Start Date. Notice that if your Unit and Lessons are adapted Learning Genie will let you know that. Once you are ready, please click Confirm at the bottom right corner.
4. Welcome to the Unit Planner! Learning Genie will give you a friendly reminder to Add your Children to your planner so it can generate Draft Observations for you.
5. Check your Class Overview, remember this section will show you insightful information about your classroom’s progress.
6. Navigate and Edit your Weekly Planner, remember you can edit your planner as you need, you can move your lessons, add specific children, update the measures, and more. All you need to do is hover your mouse over each Lesson to find the Available Options and Buttons
- The Arrows Button: Click and keep it clicked while you drag the lesson from one day to another
- Preview: you can use this button to see the Detailed View of each lesson, you can Translate the lesson and you can even Download this view to print it.
- Measures: you can change, add, or remove measures as you need using this button, once you complete the process just click Save
- Add Children: you can add one or all your children to each lesson using this button; make sure all your lessons have at least one child added so you can use the Draft Observations that Learning Genie will generate for you
7. Once you are done with your Weekly Planner you can Submit and you just completed a whole plan for a week, using real data and insightful information.
