To sync your roster data via myHeadStart API, please have the following info ready.
1. myHeadStart authentication information
As an agency systems administrator, you are responsible to determine what data a third-party system can retrieve from your agency’s myHeadStart system.
A. appShortName - ShortName of the HS agency in myHeadStart system, e.g., Capstone or nha, or umos. It is used by HS users to access myHeadStart sys.
B. systemID - For myHeadStart, this must be 1.
C. TPSID - The PDEP channel ID configured by an agency system administrator. Each TPS (Third Party System) is assigned a unique TPSID, e.g., 1
D. masterPassword Configured in myHeadStart by an agency system administrator and sent to a TPS development team.
2. Enable LG to pull your roster data from myHeadStart
A. Enable the following Data Packets that Learning Genie can pull data from:
101, 102, 103, 104, 221, 241, 301, 302, 331
Note: if you do not want to give Learning Genie permission to pull the parent info, please do not check the 302 data packet.
B. Inform the third-party development team or your IT department of the master password.
