In our commitment to providing comprehensive support for every child's unique learning journey, we've introduced new IEP (Individualized Education Program) attributes to better capture and track essential information. These new attributes, including Special Education Eligibility, Adaptations, IEP Goals, and more, enable educators and administrators to maintain a more detailed and accurate record of each child's needs and progress.
This guide will walk you through the steps to locate and add these new IEP attributes in our platform, ensuring that you can easily manage and update this vital information to support your students effectively.
1. Log in to the Learning Genie Web Portal (web.learning-genie.com).
2. Go to Admin Settings > Agency Management > Manage Children
3. Use the search filter to locate the child you want to update by typing their name. Then, hover over the child's name and click the pencil icon ().
4. In the window that appears, click on the "Additional Information" tab.
5. Scroll down to the "Child's Disability Information" section and complete the fields as needed.
Note: The fields for Special Education Eligibility, Adaptations, and IEP Goals will only appear after you select "Yes" for the question: "Does this child have an IEP or IFSP?"
6. After you have completed filling out the Attributes, click on the "Submit" button to save your changes.
