Learning Genie's Cohort Progress Report includes a Cohort School Readiness Report that helps educators assess and track children's school readiness.
The report allows you to set benchmarks for different developmental domains and shows the percentage of children who are below, at or above these benchmarks.
It provides visual data representations and allows for cohort comparisons. In short, the report simplifies the process of evaluating children's readiness for school and helps educators identify areas that need attention and intervention.
Here is how to access and set up benchmarks for the Cohort School Readiness Report:
1. Go to Assessment Report > DRDP Report > Cohort Progress Report. Then switch the toggle on for Cohort School Readiness Report.
2. Set up the benchmark.
- Choose a name for the benchmark
- Select a benchmark level for each domain. In each domain, choose a specific level that will serve as the benchmark. Use the dropdown menu to make your selection
- Optional: Choose whether to display only the domains with a selected benchmark on the report or include all domains.
Click on Save and View Details once setup is complete.
Additional Notes:
- You have the option to create and switch between multiple benchmark views. Click on the drop-down menu next to the Cohort School Readiness Report toggle to create or switch benchmark views.
-
This report offers two available views - Single domain Chart and All-domain Bar Chart.
The All-domain Bar Chart shows the developmental progress (all-domain) of different
groups of children during one or more assessment periods. Please select multiple filters for contrastive analysis.
